Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy aims to clearly explain how your personal data is handled when you visit the Platform, register, purchase equipment, or publish a caravan advertisement. More technical and comprehensive information can be found in the GDPR Privacy Notice.

Depending on the service we provide, we collect data in the following categories: • Account information: name-surname, email, phone, profile picture • Identification and invoicing information (when legally required): T.C. identification number, tax number, billing address • Reservation and order information • Payment information (card details are processed by PayTR in compliance with PCI-DSS, not stored on Camperello servers) • Location information (with user consent) • Device, browser, and IP information (for security and analytical purposes) • Customer support correspondence • Marketing preferences if consented to

We process your data solely for the following purposes: • To create and manage your membership account • To fulfill your orders and listing publications • To collect payments and disburse entitlements • To fulfill our legal obligations (tax, e-commerce, consumer law) • To prevent fraud and deception, to ensure the security of your account • To provide customer support • To improve our services, to rectify errors • To offer you personalized content and campaigns if you have given explicit consent

We share your data only when necessary for the service and within the framework of Articles 8-9 of the GDPR: • Sellers (mandatory information for sale and listing publication) • Payment providers: PayTR • Cargo companies: Aras Kargo and others depending on the Vendor selection • Cloud infrastructure providers: Cloudflare, Neon, Clerk, Sentry (including foreign servers) • Financial advisors, independent auditors, legal consultants (when required) • Authorized public institutions and courts (in case of legal requests) We do not sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

We protect your data for the duration of the service we provide and until the legal retention periods expire thereafter. For example, invoices and financial records are retained for 5 years under the Tax Procedure Law No. 213, and commercial documents are retained for 10 years under the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102. After the purpose of retention has ceased, data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

Under Article 11 of the GDPR, you have the rights to learn whether your data is being processed, to request information, to request correction, deletion, or destruction, to learn the parties to whom your data has been transferred, to object to automated decisions, and to seek compensation for damages. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at destek@camperello.com or by following the methods specified in the GDPR Privacy Notice. Your requests will be concluded within a maximum of 30 days.

Current security standards are applied to protect your data: • All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS • Passwords are stored using one-way hashing • Application-level encryption for sensitive data • Access rights are granted based on the principle of least privilege • Multi-factor authentication (for administrator accounts) • Regular backups, log monitoring, and penetration testing • In the event of a data breach, notification will be made to the data protection authority and affected individuals as soon as possible in accordance with Article 12/5 of the GDPR.

Our Platform is designed for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. User accounts identified as being under 18 will be closed and their data deleted unless we have the consent of their legal guardians. There may be links to third-party websites or services on the Platform. The privacy policies and practices of these sites are outside the responsibility of Camperello; we recommend that you review the privacy policies of the relevant sites.

This Privacy Policy may be updated in parallel with changes in legislation and the scope of services. The updated version shall come into effect on the date it is published on the Platform; substantial changes may be notified to your registered email address.
