What should you do to avoid getting wet while setting up a tent in the rain?

The first rule to avoid getting wet while setting up a tent in the rain is to create a sheltered area by first setting up the outer tent or a tarp. Using a tent footprint helps prevent water from the ground from coming in and keeps you away from depressions, which increases your comfort. Organizing your gear in advance for quick setup and moving in waterproof clothing is crucial. With the right strategy, you can set up your tent without getting wet and enjoy the soothing sound of the rain while staying dry.
