Yedigöller bungalows located in the countryside of Bolu is an isolated holiday destination that stands out with its proximity to large cities and breathtaking nature. Thanks to its strategic location, the facility can be reached in approximately 4 hours (by car) from Istanbul via the Anatolian Highway, which is about 300 kilometers away. For those departing from Ankara, the distance is 230 kilometers and the journey takes 3 hours (by car), while travelers coming from Kocaeli can complete the 200-kilometer journey in 2.5 - 3 hours (by car). These features make the facility an effortless weekend getaway.
The facility is located away from the bustling center of the city, in the unspoiled forest structure within the borders of Yedigöller National Park. The region, which is 42-45 kilometers away from Bolu city center, requires personal or rental vehicle access due to steep and winding mountain roads. Since there is no public transportation line in the area, the easiest logistical solution for guests without a car is to rent a taxi from Bolu Bus Station.
These bungalows, located in the heart of the national park ecosystem, offer a luxurious accommodation experience that compensates for the shortcomings of camping culture. Unlike the primitive conditions in tents, the houses have clean bathrooms and uninterrupted hot water infrastructure. In the buildings, which are against the cool climate of the Western Black Sea, there are strong insulation and heating units. Additionally, the most preferred feature by guests is the ability to freely barbecue on their assigned natural wooden verandas.
However, there are some practical risks that should be known beyond the natural conditions. In the facility located in a deep valley, the lack of phone signal and internet interruptions are quite common. Due to the high altitude, even in summer, sudden night frosts can occur, and as part of the isolated nature, harmless forest insects may be encountered. Guests should consider the steep curves and these conditions and being well-prepared for the journey is the key to a perfect retreat experience.
