The Geyik Dersim is a modern accommodation facility located in the heart of Tunceli, a city of mountains and rivers that is a pristine natural wonder of Eastern Anatolia. The facility is positioned on a logistics route that is flawless and extremely effortless, thanks to the D-885 Erzincan-Tunceli highway infrastructure that provides access to the major cities in the region. For guests wishing to arrive from surrounding provinces by personal vehicles, the distances and durations are quite reasonable; the facility is approximately 100 kilometers away from Elazığ via the Pertek ferry or road alternatives, taking about 1.5 - 2 hours (by passenger vehicle), and about 110 kilometers from Erzincan, estimated to take 1.5 - 2 hours (by passenger vehicle) while crossing the magnificent mountain passes and tunnels to the north, and approximately 260 kilometers from Erzurum via Bingöl, requiring an average of 3.5 - 4 hours (by passenger vehicle).
Aiming to stay away from the concrete city structure, the facility is located about 15-20 kilometers from the center of Tunceli, right in the heart of the Kutu Stream, which is considered the most famous natural wonder of the city, and right next to the ice-cold Pülümür Stream. Since there is no direct city bus line to the area, it is mandatory to use personal vehicles, rental cars, or taxis from the city center for transportation; however, the completely smooth asphalt roads along the valley prevent vehicles from getting damaged. This "Boutique River Retreat", which compensates for the shortcomings of traditional camping and caravan culture, offers its guests clean indoor bathrooms and uninterrupted hot water infrastructure, unlike the primitive conditions in the wilderness. The protected and insulated structures provide a safe area for guests against the harsh and variable climatic conditions of Eastern Anatolia, while the designated open areas by the river and the independent verandas with autonomous barbecue and grill areas are the most preferred features. Additionally, holidaymakers coming to the canyon facility should consider geographical realities such as the sudden night chill, natural pest elements, and the loud roar of the river even in summer, and should set out with an expectation of a travel experience that is compatible with natural conditions.
