Tavşan Burnu Forest Camp is located in Didim district of Aydın, at a strategic point where blue meets green. Thanks to its developed road infrastructure, it is quite easy to reach large cities. The facility is approximately 160 kilometers from İzmir (about 2 hours by car), 125 kilometers from Muğla via the Milas route (about 1.5 - 2 hours by car), and approximately 610 kilometers from Istanbul via the new highway and İzmir ring road (about 6.5 - 7 hours by car). This location makes it an effortless escape route.
The campsite is situated away from the bustling center of Didim, at an average distance of 6-7 kilometers from the city center. Surrounded by maquis vegetation and pine trees, the facility is located in a secluded cove that meets the sea, serving as the city's lifeline. The smooth and high-quality asphalt roads leading to the beach provide great comfort for transportation with personal vehicles. Additionally, the city minibuses departing from the center reach the camp gate, offering practical logistical solutions for guests without cars.
Carrying the identity of a "Boutique Forest Retreat", the facility blends traditional camping culture with modern amenities. Unlike the local tent life, guests are provided with clean shared bathroom facilities, uninterrupted hot water infrastructure, and regular electricity supply. The tents and camping areas, which are sheltered from the sea breeze, are safe for families. One of the main reasons for the facility's popularity is the freedom for guests to use their own grills and barbecues, provided that it does not harm nature.
However, some practical risks that may arise from staying by the sea should be considered before making a reservation at the facility. Guests should come prepared for the sudden humidity and cool breeze that can hit in the evenings, take protective measures against mosquitoes and flies, and maintain patience and realistic expectations regarding potential crowds in shared areas.
