Sorgun Lake Nature Park, Caravan Camp is a camping area located in the village of Sorgun, which is part of the Güdül district of Ankara. Spanning approximately 54 hectares, this nature park is surrounded by Sorgun Lake to the north and east, pine forests to the south, and wide grassy areas to the west. The park, which attracts attention with its natural beauty, offers an ideal location for caravan camping.
The facility provides guests with amenities to meet their basic needs. Toilets, showers, restaurant, and water are available, and the campsite receives positive feedback regarding cleanliness. However, there is no electrical connection for those who wish to stay in caravans. Nevertheless, facilities such as water supply and gray water disposal are provided.
The park can be accessed from Ankara via two different routes. The first route goes through the Güdül district, following the Ankara-Ayaş and Ayaş-Güdül roads, passing through the villages of Kamanlar, Yeşilöz, and Sorgun. The other route offers an alternative path. Transportation may be a bit challenging, but once you arrive, the peace and scenery offered by nature will make you forget all your fatigue.
At night, the area can be quite dark. Therefore, you may encounter total darkness unless you light a fire at the campsite. There is also a small playground for children, which is a nice detail for families.
