Located at the intersection of history, culture, and modern life, Istanbul Florya Caravan Camp by the shores of the Sea of Marmara offers a perfect and effortless location for guests coming from surrounding provinces thanks to its developed transportation networks. The facility is approximately 115 kilometers from the industrial city of Kocaeli and is an average 1.5-hour drive (by car) via the North Marmara Highway or TEM. Another important metropolis, Bursa, can be reached in an average of 2 hours (by car) by covering a distance of 165 kilometers using the Osmangazi Bridge, while from the western border, Tekirdağ, it is possible to reach the facility in an average of 1 hour and 45 minutes (by car) by traveling 135 kilometers along the coastal road.
Unlike the city's concrete historical center, this area located on the western coast of the city is approximately 22-25 kilometers away from the historical peninsula. Unlike many rural campsites, personal vehicle use is not a necessity here; because the area is within walking distance to the Marmaray suburban train line and IETT bus stops. This region, which has completely modern asphalt roads, operates with a modern "Boutique Beach Retreat" concept. Among the features where campers find the most comfort are clean shared bathroom areas, uninterrupted hot water infrastructure, and electricity-water connections available in each parcel. Additionally, the freedom to barbecue with a sea view in their own areas, provided that guests do not disturb the surroundings, is one of the main reasons for the facility's popularity.
However, there are some practical risks that guests should be aware of before making a reservation. Due to its seaside location, the intense humidity and cool breezes that suddenly hit in the evenings, the seasonal insect and mosquito density, and the city sounds reflecting from the coastal road require incoming nature lovers to bring their own equipment for a genuine experience.
