At the foot of Kazdağları, located in Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, Endemos Camp Kazdağları combines greenery with mythology and is close to major cities thanks to developed transportation networks. The facility is approximately 320 kilometers from Istanbul, 210 kilometers from Izmir, and 270 kilometers from Bursa, with travel times varying between 2.5 and 4 hours (by car) depending on the chosen route. It is located 85-90 kilometers from the city center of Çanakkale, away from the city noise, in a forest covered with endemic plant species and by a riverside valley, and it is almost essential to use private or rental vehicles to reach this facility. Although there are no direct public transportation alternatives to the region, the well-maintained mountain roads provide a comfortable drive for passenger vehicles.
The facility eliminates the exhausting shortcomings of traditional camping culture and offers a quality boutique forest retreat. Instead of mandatory shared toilet usage, each accommodation unit has its own private bathroom and continuous hot water infrastructure. Thanks to strong insulation and heating systems, safe accommodation is ensured even under variable weather conditions, while guests have the freedom to barbecue and grill on their assigned private verandas.
In this breathtaking environment where one is alone with nature, it is important for guests' expectations to be shaped according to geographical realities. Due to the deep valley structure, it should be noted that phone signals may occasionally weaken or be completely absent. Additionally, one should come prepared for sudden night frosts due to the high oxygen levels, as well as insects and bugs that are a natural part of the forest structure, which will make this peaceful retreat experience much more comfortable and filled with awareness.
