Moza Camp is an alternative escape route located at the intersection of the Aegean and Mediterranean, in the rural area of the Muğla Peninsula. Thanks to its strategic location, it is connected to major cities via road infrastructure. The facility can be reached from Muğla, approximately 130 km (2 hours by car), from İzmir via Aydın-Yatağan, 340 km (4 - 4.5 hours by car), and from Istanbul, approximately 810 km (9 - 10 hours by car). This iconic location at the tip of the peninsula has a structure that makes the journey worthwhile at any moment.
The facility is not located in the crowded and concrete center of Datça; instead, it is situated right by the sea in the heart of Gereme Bay in the pristine northern countryside of Kızlan. The distance from the facility to the center of Datça is around 11-15 kilometers. Due to the dirt-gravel mixed roads leading from the almond orchards to the beach, using a personal vehicle or a high-clearance vehicle is almost essential. Since there is no public transportation line, the most practical logistics solution for guests without a car is to take the MUTTAŞ bus to the center of Kızlan and then use a taxi for the remaining distance; it is recommended to drive slowly to avoid damaging your vehicle on the rugged roads.
This "Boutique Beach Retreat" compensates for the shortcomings of camping culture by offering comfortable amenities. Unlike wild camping, the facility has clean shared showers, regular toilets, uninterrupted sweet water infrastructure, shaded areas, and a cool bar concept. The main reason for preference is the freedom for guests to cook and barbecue autonomously in the shared area or shared kitchen with their own materials while enjoying the sea view.
Before making a reservation, the practical risks of staying in the bays of Datça should also be known. Due to the facility's location right by the sea, night winds and limited shaded areas due to the open area structure require realistic expectations. Additionally, it should be noted that the beach is completely rocky, and the steep and rugged dirt structure of the paths leading to the beach necessitates preparations against night chills and mosquitoes.
