Located in Kocaeli, which stands out as a unique green paradise for nature lovers beyond its identity as an industrial city in the Marmara Region, Dalından Camping Area offers the perfect weekend getaway route for those looking to escape the stress and chaos of big cities. This unique facility, situated right in the middle of Turkey's largest consumption and industrial basins, provides very easy access to major cities thanks to developed highway networks. For those wishing to reach the facility, the distance of 110 kilometers from İstanbul can be covered in approximately 1.5 hours (by passenger vehicle) using the North Marmara or TEM highway. Similarly, a journey of 130 kilometers from Bursa via the Osmangazi Bridge takes 1.5 hours (by passenger vehicle), while from Sakarya, it can be reached in just 45 minutes (by passenger vehicle) with a distance of 50 kilometers.
Completely isolated from the concrete and noise of Kocaeli, the facility is located 30-35 kilometers away from the city, in the heart of local fruit orchards and forested areas. Due to its isolated location extending into nature, access to the facility requires personal vehicles, rental cars, or taxis from bus stations, as public transportation does not serve this rural area. Nevertheless, the roads in the region are well-maintained and not taxing for vehicles.
The facility, which eliminates the traditional challenges of camping culture and promises guests a "Boutique Forest Retreat", stands out with its modern infrastructure. Among the amenities most appreciated by visitors are spotlessly clean bathrooms and uninterrupted hot water, even in the midst of nature. Additionally, effective insulation and heating options provided during cool weather ensure a comfortable stay, while the ability for guests to freely barbecue in designated areas with their own brought meats enhances the appeal.
Despite all these high-level comfort elements, some natural realities that come with staying right in the heart of nature should not be overlooked. Due to the natural structure of the forested valley, it is extremely important to bring warm clothing to cope with the harsh frosts experienced at night. Additionally, during the summer months, it is critical to have insect repellent sprays against mosquitoes, which are part of the ecosystem, and to be prepared for possible phone signal interruptions due to rural area conditions, as these are essential for fully connecting with nature and having a peaceful camping experience.
