Çukurova University Camping Area Facility is located north of the famous Adana, known for its gastronomy and history, on the shores of Seyhan Dam Lake and in pine forests. The facility offers a perfect transportation convenience to large cities thanks to the strong highway infrastructure connecting the surrounding provinces, creating an effortless weekend route at the intersection of the south. When examining the distances and durations to reach the area; it is approximately 190 kilometers from Gaziantep and takes an average of 2 hours (by car), approximately 480 kilometers following the Mersin coastal road from Antalya and takes an average of 6 hours (by car), approximately 490 kilometers from Ankara by crossing Gulek Bay and requires a comfortable journey of an average of 5.5 hours (by car). This establishment, located like an oasis away from the concrete structure of the city, is approximately 10-12 kilometers from Adana city center and the historical bazaar area. Although it is the most convenient option to go to the campsite by private vehicle, there is no vehicle requirement as there are municipal buses and dolmuses departing from the center. The facility, described as a "Boutique Forest Retreat", offers guests clean indoor bathrooms and uninterrupted hot water infrastructure. The accommodations, which include a strong insulation and air conditioning system against Adana's famous summer heat, provide a spacious environment for families. The main reason why the facility is preferred the most is the guests' freedom to have barbecues and grills on their own wide wooden verandas overlooking the lake. Additionally, it is recommended to be prepared for the intense mosquito and insect situation arising from the humid ecosystem of Seyhan Dam Lake, high humidity levels in the summer months, and seasonal student mobility in the area before heading to this nature retreat, to set off with realistic expectations.
