The land of rain and tea, Rize is one of Turkey’s greenest provinces. The Ayder, Pokut, Sal and Gito plateaus offer camping above the clouds, while the bridges and the Zilkale castle of the Fırtına Valley create fairy-tale scenery. The Kaçkar Mountains National Park is a paradise for climbers and hikers. Muhlama (kuymak), anchovies and world-famous Rize tea are staples.
